Use the space outside of an animation to make things easier.
Make sure you have at least 1 frame made.

Make any size canvas you want. (Default canvas size is 505x425.)
    ----REAL
    :
    :
    ----Changed dimension with lines.

You add the lines to know where the real finished canvas is going to be. Don't let the lines be in the anim.--if you want

    :
----How to change the dimension of the canvas.

It could be any size that suites you, I used 805x725 for the above image.

    :

    ----Animate!

Anything passes the line, will not be included in your anim.

    :

    ----Finishing up.

Whatever amount you added to your anim, subract it too your current dimensions. (I started with 505x425 and made it into 805x725, now you need to revert it back to 505x425.)

If there are any flaws, please tell me.
